We are a K-9 school with modern Montessori pedagogy located in central Kristianstad.

We are looking for a new colleague for the autumn term of 2026 for our middle school with about 120 students, where the relationship between students and staff is important.

We are now looking for someone who has a strong commitment to developing Math/Science and modern Montessori pedagogy. In a Montessori Mondial school, the teacher is expected to have prepared the learning environment for the students or the student group the teacher is responsible for.

This means;

• ensuring that the materials students need are in place.
• that the environment is appealing and clear, i.e., it is orderly and tidy.
• that the learning environment includes various opportunities for workspaces.
• that the environment allows students to move around the classroom without disturbing their peers.

As an educator, you should build clear and professional relationships with all your students, act as a leader in the classroom, and have high expectations for students' learning.

We are now looking for someone who is qualified to teach grades 7-9 in Math/Science. You need to be calm, systematic, clear, and low-key in your interactions with students and truly believe that they do the right thing if they can. You are well acquainted with our governing documents, and the development of students' learning and teaching is your primary and foremost focus in harmony with students' well-being. Collaborating in teams is a given for us, and we make each other better.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed teacher with qualifications to teach Mathematics/Science for grades 7-9.

You gain energy from contributing to others' learning and create conditions for learning to take place. You encourage dialogue, participation, and engagement. You can balance different demands and remain calm in difficult situations. You have the ability to work together with others to accomplish tasks and achieve goals. By being interested and creating understanding for others, you contribute to a respectful work climate. You understand the common mission, act accordingly, and contribute to the whole.
