The Employment Administration works to promote the municipality's growth by creating conditions for residents to engage in lifelong learning and achieve self-sufficiency. We focus on skills supply and coordinated operational services for businesses, addressing complex societal challenges with innovative approaches. The administration consists of three departments: Employment, Quality and Coordination, and Campus Trelleborg, and employs approximately 100 dedicated staff members.

Responsibilities

We are looking for you who hold a teaching license in Swedish as a Second Language and can combine this with another subject. As a teacher in adult education in Trelleborg, you and your colleagues create a stimulating study environment for students, providing the best conditions for learning and development. You thrive in the flexibility of adult education and naturally work with individualizing instruction according to the curriculum for adult education. You collaborate with various roles within the Employment Administration and view skills supply as an important perspective in education.

Together with the principal and other colleagues, you lead and develop teaching to increase goal achievement. You also actively contribute to development and quality work within the unit. Furthermore, you will be part of a teaching team characterized by collegial support, development, and great job satisfaction. We consider it a given that you are up-to-date with current school research while also having a good ability to share good examples from your own teaching.

The position involves distance teaching and classroom teaching. Courses and study formats may vary depending on the student intake, which changes over time. Evening classes are also offered.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with experience in adult education who can plan flexible instruction that suits the conditions and needs of adult students. You are familiar with the curriculum for adult education and the national goals. Labor market issues are close to your heart, and you enjoy planning your teaching based on different study paces and formats.

The position requires a teaching license with eligibility in Swedish as a Second Language at the upper secondary level. Good digital competence and experience in adult learning are meritorious.

Meritorious qualifications include good digital competence and experience in adult learning. Additionally, experience working with multilingualism or knowledge- and language-developing approaches is advantageous, as is the ability to demonstrate documented competence in individualizing instruction.

You must also thrive in environments with high levels of change. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
