At Brogårdaskolan, one of the municipality’s four primary schools, approximately 430 students in grades F–6 attend classes. Here, a dedicated team works with the students’ best interests always in focus. We strive to ensure that every student reaches their knowledge goals based on their individual prerequisites, while fostering well-being and developing each person into an independent and curious individual.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for planning, teaching, and evaluating music lessons for grades 3–6. You will also take charge of the school’s Lucia procession and play a key role in planning the year-end celebrations, where music is a central component. Teaching is conducted in half-class groups. The school, newly built in 2019, features a modern and well-equipped music room.

You take initiative and genuinely believe that everyone can develop, both academically and socially.

Together with your colleagues, you create engaging, varied, and student-centered lessons. You challenge and support students to achieve good academic results, differentiating your teaching according to their diverse needs. The role involves close collaboration with other educators, student health services, and guardians.

Qualifications & Preferences

We are looking for a certified teacher with qualifications to teach music. To be considered for this position, you should:

• Hold valid teaching qualifications in music.
• Be engaged, clear, and possess strong communication skills.
• Be a confident pedagogical leader who fosters positive relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.
• Recognize each student’s needs and adapt to their individual prerequisites.
• Be flexible, solution-oriented, and able to quickly adapt to unexpected situations.
• Feel confident and secure when working with digital tools.
• Have good knowledge of various neurodevelopmental conditions (NPF).

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and whether you present yourself as a confident teacher with particularly strong classroom leadership skills.

Employment Details & Start Date

Employment type: Permanent position.
Start date: August 6, 2026, or by agreement.
