Laröd School is an engaged F–9 school in the scenic Laröd, just north of Helsingborg. Job Responsibilities

As a teacher in Mathematics/Science/Technology for grades 4–6, you will:

  • Plan, implement, and follow up on teaching in mathematics, science, and technology according to governing documents.
  • Design varied and clear teaching with both theoretical and practical elements.
  • Work with laboratory activities, experiments, and problem-solving to strengthen students' understanding.
  • Follow and document students' knowledge development and provide feedback that supports continued learning.
  • Create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment where every student has the opportunity to succeed.
  • Have an active mentorship role and be responsible for the student's social and academic development together with other teachers.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in working groups and subject teams, and contribute to the school's quality and development work.
  • Strengthen students' digital competence by integrating digital tools into teaching.

Qualifications

We are looking for a qualified teacher for grades 4–6, with authorization in mathematics, natural sciences, and technology. You have good didactic skills and can create teaching that sparks interest and understanding. You are confident in the classroom and can lead groups with clarity and warmth. You have experience working formatively and adapting teaching to different students' needs. Your digital competence is strong, and you use digital tools to support learning and assessment. You are relationship-building, attentive, and have an inclusive perspective. You see collaboration as a natural part of the profession and are happy to contribute to collective development.
