Fladängskolan is a municipal F-6 school with about 400 students located in central Lomma. We have organized after-school care departments by grade, with two parallel classes in grades F-3. The school is surrounded by several scenic areas and playgrounds. Here, you will collaborate with other teachers in after-school care, as well as your colleagues in the team around the class you are assigned to.

The after-school care at Fladängskolan works to develop a program with the student's best interests in focus and emphasizes the important complementary mission of after-school care.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work as a teacher in after-school care linked to a class in the age range F-3. In your immediate team, you will find two other after-school care teachers, as well as two primary school teachers. Together, you will create a meaningful school day for the students in the two classes of the grade.

The school day alternates with whole-class instruction, where you can be part of the teaching together with the teacher, but also in half-class configurations where you are responsible for teaching based on the after-school care curriculum. In addition, you and your closest colleagues are responsible for planning and teaching during the after-school hours before and after school.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Qualified teacher in after-school care or licensed leisure educator.
• Have a positive view of students where you work to help each student succeed based on their own abilities.
• Good ability to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
• Good communication skills.
• Maintain a professional attitude towards students, guardians, and colleagues.
• Take personal responsibility for planning the activities together with colleagues.

Meritorious

• Good experience working in a Google environment.
• Combination with art, sports, or another school subject.
