Do you want to make a difference every day? At Bäckagårdsskolan, we are now looking for an engaged and creative primary school teacher for after-school care who wants to be part of a wonderful and competent team where we work together for each student's best school day.

As a primary school teacher in after-school care, you will plan, implement, and develop the education in after-school care based on the school's governing documents. Together, we create a meaningful and stimulating learning environment that strengthens students' knowledge development, social skills, and personal growth.

In our after-school care, we actively work to promote social community, good relationships, and diverse contacts. You see the student's entire day and are an important part of the whole surrounding the student. During school hours, you collaborate closely with teachers and other school staff, and it may also include teaching in one or more subjects based on your qualifications and the needs of the program.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is an engaged and qualified/certified primary school teacher for after-school care and who wants to help shape a safe, inspiring, and developing school day for our students.

For us, after-school care is an important part of the whole surrounding the student. You have a good understanding of the school's governing documents and the ability to implement them in daily work. You plan, lead, and organize your teaching with a focus on creating meaningful, inclusive, and stimulating learning environments – both during school hours and in after-school care activities.

We see the environment as the third teacher, which means that you actively work to develop physical and pedagogical learning environments that spark curiosity, promote participation, and support students' learning, social interaction, and independence.

You have a low-affect and relational approach, and you meet students with clear structure, safety, and care. You are skilled at adapting the program based on both the group's and individual students' needs. For you, collaboration is a given, and you easily build good and trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• Previous experience working as a primary school teacher in after-school care
• Subject qualifications in one or more school subjects
