Job Responsibilities

Welcome to Dammfriskolan!

As a special education teacher, you will work preventively and remedially to ensure that the school's students receive adequate support and develop towards the school's goals. You will collaborate closely with the school's special educators and teachers in the working teams to plan interventions. You will plan, implement, and evaluate teaching as well as work with special support and additional adaptations. You will use various assessment tools and document continuously according to applicable governing documents.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a licensed teacher and has a special education degree. Previous experience as a special education teacher is an advantage. You have good knowledge of students' diverse needs in the learning environment and how to remove barriers, as well as experience working with students with various disabilities. You have a strong ability to structure and analyze your work and build good relationships with students, guardians, and school staff. You are well-acquainted with the school's governing documents and keep up with current research and literature in your field.
