Part-time Job as SFI Teacher

Are you studying to become a teacher with a focus on Swedish as a second language? Do you want to gain experience working as an SFI teacher? Or are you a qualified SFI teacher who is not working full-time, has retired, or for other reasons has some spare time?

Folkuniversitetet is now looking for several dedicated and independent SFI substitutes for our operations in Helsingborg. The degree of employment varies, and there is the possibility of everything from single lessons to more extensive positions, as we offer hourly substitutes and occasionally also longer and more comprehensive planned periods.

You take great personal responsibility and meet our students and colleagues with humility and respect. You are solution-oriented, have good social skills, share your knowledge with students and colleagues, and feel enthusiasm for developing in your teaching role.

Qualifications

- You are studying to become a teacher with a focus on Swedish as a second language, have university credits in Swedish as a second language, or are a qualified SFI teacher.

- You have knowledge of and interest in working with digital tools as a natural part of teaching.

Meritorious

- Experience in teaching SFI or SVA basic

- 30 university credits in Swedish as a second language

- Volunteer engagement or interest in folk education and social issues
