Preschool Pinocchio is Helsingborg's oldest staff and parent cooperative and has been located in the Olympia district since 1984. The preschool operates as a non-profit association with an engaged board consisting of both staff and parents.

The operation consists of two departments with a total of 31 children and 7 educators. We have our own chef and all meals are prepared at the preschool. Here you will experience close collaboration, good staff density, and a warm working environment.

We are now looking for a substitute for the Småfolket department, where the children are between 1–3 years.

• Employment type: Substitute
• Period: End of April to beginning of September
• Scope: 75-80%
• You need to be able to work all summer, except for weeks 30–31 when the preschool is closed
• Start date: By agreement at the end of April

Job responsibilities

As a substitute with us, you will:

• Work pedagogically in a group with children aged 1–3 years
• Plan, implement, document, and follow up the educational activities based on the preschool's governing documents
• Collaborate with the team to create a safe, stimulating, and developing learning environment
• Participate in the preschool's daily work, such as care, routines, educational activities, and outdoor activities
• Contribute to good cooperation with colleagues and guardians

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a trained childcare worker or has another educational background
• Alternatively has previous experience working with younger children (1–3 years)
• Has good knowledge of the preschool's governing documents
• Is proactive, engaged, and responsible
• Has good collaboration skills and enjoys working in a team
