JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The work at Kvinnohuset consists of receiving women who have been subjected to violence, with or without children, and in some cases also women with dependency issues. The primary task is to offer protection and support in our accommodation. Risk assessments are made in the current situation and continuously. Documentation in the digital journal is ongoing and is an important part of the work.

At Kvinnohuset, women are offered crisis and counseling support, and the long-term goal is for the woman to find her own strategies to live as independently and safely as possible in her own accommodation. Another part of the work is to provide practical support and assistance in contact with other authorities.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with relevant post-secondary education and substantial work experience in the social field. You should have experience working with the target group, women subjected to violence in close relationships and their children, as well as with women experiencing violence with concurrent dependency issues. It is an advantage if you have training/experience in using risk assessment tools FREDA and PATRIARK.

The organization is constantly developing, which requires you to be flexible and positive about development. Work at Kvinnohuset requires a high degree of flexibility regarding job tasks. In addition, we want you to be an engaged, responsible, secure, and positive person, open to new ideas, and with a good ability to work independently as well as in teams and with other partners. Being solution-oriented and creative is a prerequisite for this work.

Qualifications

• Education: At least two years of post-secondary education, such as treatment pedagogue, social pedagogue, social worker, or similar
• Driver's license B is a requirement.
• Experience with similar job responsibilities
• Preferably experience working with women in vulnerable situations
