Support Assistant Wanted
Are you a support assistant who wants to help create a safe and meaningful everyday life for people with various disabilities? Do you value collaboration, reflection, and a professional approach in all situations?
Your Mission
With us, you work closely with individuals and create a safe and meaningful everyday life for people with various disabilities. You support the user based on individual needs – everything from personal care and hygiene to structure, motivation, and involvement in everyday decisions. You will meet people of different ages and with varying disabilities. We work with a strong user focus where self-determination, participation, and influence are at the core of everything we do. The operation is staffed during the day, evening, weekends, and on-call, which means you will work irregular hours.
Together with your team, you create a stable and secure operation around the clock. You will be part of a competent and dedicated team consisting of support assistants, support pedagogues, and care pedagogues.

- Clarifying pedagogy.
- Low-affect approach.
- Communicative and respectful attitude.
In this role, you are responsible for ensuring that interventions in the user's implementation plan are carried out. You will continuously work with daily documentation in Life Care, and you actively contribute to creating structure and quality in the operation. Working within LSS means that you support the individual in living their life the way they wish.
Interventions vary depending on the individual's needs and may include:
- Support in planning the week and various activities.
- Assistance with household chores.
- Accompanying on leisure activities.
- Motivating and creating structure in everyday life.
- Providing more extensive support in basic needs when necessary.
- In some cases, you will also perform delegated health and medical care interventions.
Your Experience
- You should have relevant upper secondary education from the child and leisure program, focusing on social work, educational work, or the health and care program with a specialization in disabilities or psychiatry, or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
- Good computer skills.
- Proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with people with disabilities.
- Previous experience and training in the low-affect approach.
