You contribute to creating a safe and developing environment that promotes the participants' well-being and personal development.
Job Duties
- Support and guide participants in daily operations with a focus on pedagogical methods, communication, and a structured approach
- Establish, follow up, and develop individual implementation plans together with participants based on their needs, conditions, and goals
- Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to create a holistic view of participants' needs and ensure coordinated and qualitative care
- Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that promotes participants' development and well-being
- Document and follow up on participants' development and progress according to applicable guidelines
- Support participants in need of personal care
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with at least a two-year post-secondary education in the field, for example as a support educator or other education focused on disabilities, special education, or similar, such as social pedagogy, which the employer assesses as equivalent.
You have good knowledge of the Swedish language and experience of practical work with documentation and implementation plans, preferably with the LifeCare system. You have a solid understanding of pedagogical methods, low-arousal responses, and work in a structured manner. The ability to work in a team and collaborate with other professionals is central, as is the ability to create safe and trusting relationships with participants.
We would like you to have knowledge and experience working with individuals with medical and complex needs and be able to apply this in daily work. Experience supporting individuals with various diagnoses, such as autism and autism spectrum disorders, intellectual, physical, or mental disabilities, is an advantage. You preferably have previous experience working in daily operations, performed tactile stimulation, and have knowledge of signs as support or other communication aids. A valid driver's license is a requirement.
If you are an engaged and competent person who wants to work to support individuals with disabilities and significant care needs, you are warmly welcome to apply for this position. Applications should include a personal letter, CV, and relevant certificates and grades.
OTHER
"In all our recruitments, we strive for a more balanced distribution between genders and increased representation of other differences within the municipality's various operations" - this is stated in our "Active Measures for Gender Equality and Diversity". It is not always easy, but we work for this every day.
In preparation for the recruitment process, we have taken a stance on recruitment channels and marketing. We therefore firmly request no contact with media sellers, recruitment sites, or similar.
To ensure the quality of our recruitment process in Höganäs municipality, we use the recruitment tool Public Jobs/Visma Recruit. Therefore, we ask you to submit your application via Public Jobs by clicking on the application link in the advertisement.
If you are called for an interview, you need to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
