We are looking for someone to work as a personal assistant to a 35-year-old woman with autism and developmental disabilities in Lund.
The job involves assisting with daily living, personal care, and various activities.
The qualities we are looking for in applicants include being attentive and reliable, being able to take responsibility and show care, as well as handling situations in a calm and secure manner. You should be able to take initiative, understand the perspective of the person receiving assistance, and have a commitment to the work. Since you will be working with someone on the autism spectrum, it is desirable that you have knowledge of or experience with this target group or previous experience in care work.
Continuity is important for everyone involved, which is why a longer-term commitment is required from applicants.
The assistance takes place in the home of the person receiving assistance as well as in all locations where they are present, at all hours of the day. Therefore, we are looking for someone who can work during the day, evenings, weekends, and nights.
The person receiving assistance enjoys animals and has a cat, so it is important that you are not allergic to furry pets.
