The social work reception in Ängelholm is part of the Rehabilitation Unit (VO). We work both within inpatient care in our three medical departments and rehabilitation medicine department, as well as in outpatient care. We operate based on evidence and proven experience, are engaged and curious, and care for each other. Organizationally, you belong to the social work reception at Ängelholm Hospital, positioned towards the Rehabilitation Medicine Outpatient Clinic. You will be part of an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team. In the team, you as a social worker will work alongside occupational therapists, physiotherapists, doctors, nurses, and rehabilitation assistants.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a social worker with us, you will perform interventions individually and in groups based on a rehabilitative approach together with the team.

Your main tasks include psychosocial assessment and evaluation work, treatment work, counseling support, crisis management, and advice. The assessment highlights the person's life situation regarding finances, social networks, and the need for both practical and emotional support. As a social worker, you assist and collaborate with external contacts such as the Social Insurance Agency, employers, or municipalities. Additionally, you will also offer support conversations and therapeutic discussions that may include relatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is an educated social worker with experience as a social worker. It is an advantage if you are a licensed health and hospital social worker. You have language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale.

We consider it a merit if you have several years of experience working within social services, somatic care, and rehabilitation. We also see it as a merit if you have experience working with individuals with psychiatric comorbidity as well as families and relatives. Furthermore, we would like you to have experience working with treatment based on CBT/ACT and/or mindfulness.

To be successful in this position, you need to be confident in your professional role, outgoing, pedagogical, enjoy working in a team, and collaborate with other professions. At the same time, you need to be able to meet and relate to the conditions and competencies of somatic care with curiosity, flexibility, and humility. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
