Summer Temp and Extra Staff Wanted – Personal Assistant in Eslöv

We are now looking for summer temps and on-call staff for a position as a personal assistant in Eslöv.

About the Position

Your task will be to help the customer achieve a functioning and valuable everyday life. It is important that you can work individually, are attentive to the customer's needs, and can take responsibility.

"I am a girl in my twenties living in Marieholm with my parents, sister, and the family dogs. I am now looking for a woman who can become my new assistant and be part of a nice team.

I am severely disabled but am usually in a good mood. Despite my severe disability, I have the ability to communicate and participate, but not in the same way as anyone else, rather in my own way, which you will learn over time.

I need your help and support around the clock every day of the week from mornings to afternoons as well as evenings, nights, and weekends. As my assistant, you will accompany me to various daily activities, different events, and at home.

Since I do not always sleep well at night, you will work awake nights with me.

As it takes some time to get to know me, I want you to see this job as a longer commitment. It is important that you become a functioning part of my family.

Your primary responsibilities as my assistant will be to assist with meal situations, personal hygiene, transfers, communication, training, play, and other activities. Some daily medication is also included. I am a very small girl, 1.25 m tall and weigh around 30 kg.

Some preferences are that you have experience working with disabled children or have training as a childcare worker, nursing assistant, or equivalent. Experience with epilepsy is a plus. I have home dialysis, and knowledge about that is advantageous. Training will be provided, which is mandatory. A driver's license is a benefit and desirable but not a requirement, as we usually take the train or taxi. You need to be smoke-free. No pet allergies, as I ride horses and have dogs at home. Sometimes we visit the swimming pool where I make progress in my mobility and transfers, so it is important that you do not have claw allergies.
