JOB DESCRIPTION

Do you want to work in an engaged team where you make a real difference in people's lives every day?

As a treatment provider in the Dependency Team within the Individual and Family Administration in Landskrona, you will work to support residents with risky use or dependence on alcohol, drugs, or gambling, as well as their relatives. The role involves meeting people in various life situations and providing motivational interventions and treatment based on national guidelines and evidence-based methods. In a development-oriented team with high accessibility, you contribute to strengthening the individual's opportunities for change and a life of their own strength. The assignment requires both professionalism and flexibility, as well as the ability to create safe and trusting relationships.

The tasks include, among others:

  • Conducting support, treatment, and motivational work for individuals with risky use or dependence on alcohol, drugs, and gambling, both individually and in groups.
  • Working with evidence-based methods such as 12-step treatment, MI, CBT, relapse prevention, CRA, and support interventions for relatives based on, for example, CRAFT.
  • Planning, leading, and following up group activities such as motivational groups, relapse prevention, twelve-step programs, and relative groups.
  • Documenting interventions and establishing implementation plans according to current guidelines, including continuous goal reflections and evaluations.
  • Contributing to the development work of the organization by being flexible, collaborative, and active in the work with assistance-free interventions.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements for the position:

  • Education and experience in working with treatment of dependency issues.
  • Professional background as a treatment provider, alcohol and drug therapist, or social worker.
  • Good ability to work with and document interventions according to current guidelines, including establishing and following up implementation plans and goals.

Meritorious:

  • Experience working with relative support based on CRAFT.
  • Education/experience working with 12-step treatment.
  • Other relevant education such as CBT, relapse prevention, MI, and CRA.
