CULTURE AND RECREATION ADMINISTRATION

The Culture and Recreation Administration is a new administration that reports directly to the Culture and Recreation Committee. The administration is responsible for libraries, public culture, art halls, swimming facilities, music schools, citizen offices, sports and leisure activities, and tourism. Our goal is to offer all residents a rich and varied cultural and recreational offering, based on the needs and wishes of our citizens.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The work as a leisure leader within Young in Staffanstorp is conducted in accordance with the operational assignment for the open leisure activities in Staffanstorp. In your role, you will have contact and collaboration with schools, associations, other municipal operations, and relevant external actors to offer a broad range of activities for as many as possible within the target group.

The daily work primarily involves meeting the target group, all young people aged 10-17 years. Your task is to conduct the work together with the youth, striving for high participation and influence. You will do this, among other things, by:

• Working to capture young people's interests and motivations
• Building relationships
• Supporting young people's own organization through coaching and advice.
• Collaborating with other parts of the municipality and civil society.

You understand the importance of collaboration with your colleagues, maintaining routines and rules, and providing a friendly and respectful approach to everyone you meet in your work.

The work is located in various places in the municipality such as schools, sports halls, and meeting places.

Evening and weekend work is included in the job.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who

• Has post-secondary education relevant to the position; e.g., leisure leader training, social pedagogy, social work.
• Has previous experience in similar work.
• Is creative, innovative, driven, and can work both independently and in a team.
• Dares to try new working methods and paths.
