The mission of child psychiatry includes specialized child and adolescent psychiatry for patients up to 18 years old. Within the Helsingborg area, which includes clinics in Helsingborg, Ängelholm, and Landskrona, outpatient care is provided through clinics and day care psychiatry.

Day care psychiatry includes, among other things, infant services and intermediate care via the adolescent and family day care department.

Inpatient care is located in Malmö and Lund.

The Child Psychiatric Clinic in Ängelholm is responsible for providing specialized outpatient care for children and adolescents up to 18 years old with moderate to severe mental health issues. Assessment and treatment work is conducted in a multidisciplinary team characterized by close collaboration between different professional groups.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In our unit, we strive for short communication paths and close collaboration among all colleagues. We actively work to develop and refine our methods to meet more patients effectively and safely.

In the role of a social worker with us, you will perform independent assessments and treatments of patients with psychiatric issues. In your work, you will have close dialogue and collaboration with the clinic's other staff, which consists of social workers, psychologists, doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, and medical secretaries.

The work also involves contact with care neighbors such as schools, student health services, and social services, among other things for information gathering and at meetings within coordinated individual plans.

We encourage further education and see it as an important part of your development in the professional role. During the introduction, you will receive mentorship, and thereafter we offer ongoing group supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a social worker or counselor, and it is highly meritorious if you are a licensed health and medical care counselor. The position also requires language skills in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale and basic computer skills. We would like you to have experience in child and adolescent psychiatry as well as treatment work with children and families. Travel may occur in the position, so a valid B driver's license is an advantage. It is also meritorious if you have completed training in CBT Step 1.

We are looking for someone who finds it easy to collaborate both internally and externally, and who is responsible, creative, and solution-focused. You have a good ability to structure and organize your work independently. We also value a good attitude towards colleagues, patients, and relatives. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
