Kooperativet Hand i Hand is a member-driven organization founded in 1995 for individuals entitled to assistance. Our members are located in Skåne, Halland, southern Småland, Västra Götaland, Stockholm, and Jämtland. We have offices in Halmstad, Hässleholm, and Malmö. We support our members with everything from applying for hours with Försäkringskassan/the municipality to personnel issues regarding personal assistants. We believe that the work of a personal assistant is one of the most important jobs as it provides opportunities for another person to live their life like everyone else.

I am a 26-year-old guy living centrally in Hässleholm. I enjoy football and spending time with family and friends. As an assistant, you will accompany me in my daily life - at home, at work, or during activities. Therefore, you need to be flexible when plans change.

About the Assignment

Employment Type: On-call substitute as needed
Working Hours: 12-hour shifts, on-call may occur around the clock, every day of the week
Location: Hässleholm
Work Environment: Smoke-free working hours

Your Responsibilities

• Assistance with transfers, personal hygiene, and household chores
• Be my support both at home and outside
• Be able to adapt to changing plans and times

Who Are You?

• Responsive and secure - you sense when you are needed and when to take a step back
• Social and unpretentious - you blend into groups and can bring a laugh
• Physically fit - the job may involve uncomfortable positions and lifting
• Previous experience in personal assistance is an advantage but not a requirement

About Me

I have a muscle disease that makes me weak and therefore need help with most practical tasks. Personal chemistry is the most important - I want to be able to be myself even with assistance around the clock.
