Lillgården's Montessori Preschool is looking for a dedicated and responsible preschool teacher or childcare worker for our operations.

About the position

The position is 55% with a start date to be agreed upon. The employment is a fixed-term position until 2026-12-22 with the possibility of extension.

About us

At Lillgården's Montessori Preschool, we work based on Montessori pedagogy where the child's curiosity, independence, and desire to learn are at the center. We offer a safe and stimulating environment where each child is given the opportunity to develop at their own pace. The preschool is located in Gamla Lerberget outside Höganäs, with the sea and forest right at our doorstep. The operation consists of 27 children and is spread over two buildings: Lillgården for children aged 1-4 years, and Mellanskolan for children aged 3-6 years.

Job responsibilities

As a preschool teacher/childcare worker with us, you will:

• Participate in the educational work
• Create a safe, fun, and educational environment for the children
• Collaborate with colleagues and guardians
• Contribute to the development and quality of the operations

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a qualified preschool teacher or childcare worker
• Has a genuine interest in children's development and learning
• Is responsible, flexible, and has good collaboration skills
• Is well-grounded in the preschool's governing documents
• Can work with pedagogical documentation as part of the systematic quality work
• Experience with Montessori pedagogy is an advantage
