JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Description: Special Education Teacher in Mathematics for Grades 7-9

Purpose of the Assignment

The special education teacher in mathematics will strengthen students' knowledge development in grades 7-9 through targeted and systematic efforts at both individual and group levels.

Main Responsibilities

1. Teaching and Targeted Support
   • Work in the classroom alongside the regular teacher to support instruction and create good learning environments.
   • Conduct intensive interventions, small group teaching, and adapted teaching solutions.
   • Follow up and document students' knowledge development and the effectiveness of interventions.
2. Systematic Quality Work
   • Analyze results, implemented interventions, and working methods to ensure that goal fulfillment increases.
   • Evaluate the effectiveness of teaching together with teachers, the principal, and the student health team (EHT).
   • Contribute to the school's long-term development work in mathematics (grades 1-9).
3. Collaboration and Collegial Learning
   • Be part of the Student Health Team (EHT).
   • Together with the principal, challenge and support teachers in developing and reviewing their mathematics instruction.
   • Participate in and initiate collegial conversations about teaching methods, learning environments, and didactics.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a certified mathematics teacher for grades 7-9 and has special education training.
