About the role

As an educational resource within restaurant education, you will work closely with our vocational teachers in the kitchen and dining room. You will be there to support students in their education and catch them in both practical and theoretical moments. Your mission is to strengthen students' understanding, motivation, and learning – whether they are in the kitchen, classroom, or on their APL.

The Astar model – our core in teaching

You are an important part of leading and supporting teaching based on the Astar model, where clear steps, controlled understanding, and structured guidance create security, progression, and good learning outcomes for students.

Your main tasks

• Support students in both practical and theoretical aspects of restaurant education.
• Work alongside vocational teachers in the kitchen and contribute to planning and executing practical exercises and theoretical reviews.
• Provide students with the conditions to develop the knowledge and skills required in the restaurant and large kitchen industry.
• Assist in documentation, quality assurance, safety routines, and workplace environment work.
• Contribute to assessment, follow-up, and structured training of vocational elements.

APL – an important part of the mission

The role also includes actively sourcing, matching, and following up on APL placements.

We are therefore looking for someone with a well-developed network within restaurants, large kitchens, or other relevant businesses. You ensure that students receive safe, professional, and developmental internship environments.

From the start of the education, we work closely with the labor market and support students in their path towards work, further studies, and a strong professional identity.

That’s why we are looking for you who have:

• At least 1 year of professional experience in student support activities full-time. Preferably within adult education or high school.

It is an advantage if you also have experience and/or education in the restaurant field.

The position is a temporary contract with great opportunities for extension.
