In the role of study and career counselor, you have a central and important role in the organization. You work to support our students in basic adult education and in Komvux as adapted education. You guide students in their study and career choices both in the short and long term, through individual counseling sessions and group information.

Your tasks include managing and continuously following up on students' choices and study plans. You work with mapping, admissions, documentation, administration, follow-up, and contact with various authorities. We place great emphasis on ensuring that all our students have the opportunity to study and develop based on their conditions and abilities.

Your workplace will be at Kasern Möller in the T4 area, Löjtnant Granlunds väg 16. You can easily reach Hässleholm central station by train or bus, and from there you can take a bus further or enjoy a walk of about 1.5 kilometers.

The position is a permanent full-time employment starting from 2026-08-03 or by agreement.

Who are you?

You have a degree in study and career counseling. You have experience working within Komvux or other adult education, and it is advantageous if you have experience with second language learning. You have good digital skills with experience using a computer as a working tool and resource, and you have the willingness and ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new programs and systems. Experience with Tieto Education (student registration) is also a plus.

To succeed in your role, you need to have good collaboration skills and a positive attitude towards both students and colleagues. You have pedagogical abilities, are clear, and can see the bigger picture. It is also advantageous if you have worked as a career counselor for the target group in adapted education in adult education.

As a person, you are flexible, responsible, and plan and organize your work effectively. Experience collaborating with other authorities and being part of various networks is a significant plus, as is knowledge of and staying updated on labor market policy measures.

Since you will be in daily contact and communication with our students, you need to be able to express yourself in Swedish both orally and in writing. Additionally, you are accustomed to assisting students with questions about CSN.
