As a teacher, your tasks include, in addition to the usual preparation and follow-up work as well as examination and assessment, collaboration with internal and external actors. Teaching is tailored to each student's needs and conditions. We have continuous admission and teaching throughout the year.

A digital working method and digital tools are an obvious part of the work. Some administrative tasks are included as well as participation in various meetings. All teaching positions also include so-called resource hours, with time for preparation and follow-up work that is connected in various ways to the students' studies.

We offer a temporary position in connection with a teacher trying out another assignment within the administration starting from August 17, 2026, until February 28, 2027. As it stands now, it is teaching in course C, study paths 2 and 3, but it may also involve teaching in other courses and/or study paths. Your workplace will be at Sfi, which is part of the Labor Market Administration. Our premises are located in the old regiment area T4 in Hässleholm, within walking distance to both bus and train.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a Swedish teaching license with the authority to teach Sfi. You also need a certificate from the course "Swedish as a Second Language" if it is not included in your teaching license. You have experience teaching Sfi, including the associated preparation and follow-up work as well as examination and assessment. It is advantageous if you have experience working and/or collaborating in integration in some way. You should be able to teach in all three study paths. For the job, you need to be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, and if you have knowledge of additional languages, it is an advantage.

You are interested in working flexibly with varying working methods, in different constellations, and see digital tools as an obvious part of teaching. For you, it is natural to care about good collaboration, see the whole picture, and share your knowledge. You participate in pedagogical development work and believe that collegial learning is important. Furthermore, you have an easy time adapting to different situations and meetings with people. You see collaboration with various actors, with the individual/student in focus, as a given.

We have planned to conduct interviews in the afternoon on April 15. The interviews will take place at our premises on Stallmästargatan 5.

About us

The Labor Market Administration is responsible for financial assistance, labor market policy measures, and the municipality's adult education. We work strategically with measures that meet the needs of residents and the labor market. The administration's overarching main task is to coordinate processes to help more individuals achieve sustainable self-sufficiency. The administration includes Financial Assistance, the Labor Market Unit, Komvux, and Yrkeshögskolan Syd.

Sfi is part of the municipal adult education and is for residents who lack the fundamental knowledge of the Swedish language. The education can be combined with, for example, work, internships, validation, or other education. Teaching is individually structured and can take place both during the day and in the evening. Our students study in one of three study paths, depending on prior knowledge and previous educational background. Our mission within Sfi is to offer good education and to support, coach, and stimulate our students in their learning so they can achieve their individual goals.
