Förslöv School is a K-9 school with just over 530 students. We have 75 employees distributed across 5 teams. We work based on “The Whole Child – All the Way” where we collectively take responsibility for both the social and academic development of our students. The foundation is based on a permissive and stimulating study environment where we strive to give every student the best possible schooling. We focus on relational pedagogy with students' safety and participation as important parts. JOB DESCRIPTION

We will expand our support organization ahead of the autumn term and therefore seek two committed and empathetic employees who want to make a real difference for students in need of support and special support. The assignment is aimed at those who have good experience and a deep understanding of children's various conditions and needs, and who can create conditions for development, learning, and increased goal achievement with security, warmth, and structure.

In this role, you will work closely with students who need extra support in their schooling, both academically and socially. You will contribute with special educational competence, motivation-creating methods, and clear structure to help students succeed in their daily lives and learning.

Your tasks

In this role, you will teach students in need of special support within the school's support organization and flexible group. Teaching may occur individually or in smaller contexts, during single lessons or several lessons a week, based on the students' needs. The assignment means that you can teach several different students and in various subjects. A mentoring assignment is included for a smaller group of students.

You are responsible for planning, implementing, assessing, and following up on the teaching you are responsible for, with a focus on the students' knowledge development. The work also includes creating structure, clarity, and motivation for students who need extra support to succeed in their schooling. You collaborate with teachers, student health, guardians, and school management to give students good conditions to develop as far as possible.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher or special educator. You have good experience working with students in need of special support and a good understanding of the challenges that can affect students' learning, development, and school situation. You have a particularly good ability to meet students with different types of needs and to adapt teaching based on each student's conditions.

You have experience in planning, implementing, assessing, and following up on teaching, with a clear focus on students' knowledge development. Since the assignment involves teaching several different students, sometimes in different subjects and with varying scope, you need to be flexible, structured, and secure in your teaching role. You have a good ability to create clarity, coherence, and motivation for students who need extra support, and you work with a relational and solution-focused approach.

We also see that you find it easy to collaborate with colleagues, student health, guardians, and school management, and that you contribute to a shared responsibility for students' development and goal achievement. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability, where commitment, empathy, perseverance, and the ability to build trusting relationships are particularly important qualities.

The position is filled on the condition that it is not needed by an already employed person within the municipality.
