What we offer you!

You will teach Swedish as a second language in the absence of the regular teacher.

You will lead and be responsible for the educational work in the organization based on the curriculum's mission. In your role as a teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating your teaching.

We use Schoolsoft as a tool for documentation and for parent contacts. In our daily work, we use Office 365 internally within the child and education administration.

Who are you?

We are primarily looking for someone with a teaching license for high school with the qualification to teach Swedish as a second language. Experience in high school teaching is considered an asset. As a person, you are creative and have the ability to inspire students and strive to create a positive learning environment. The starting point for your interaction with students is to find the experiences and knowledge that are the student's assets. You enjoy working in multicultural environments and are inspired by new knowledge and experiences. We expect you to have good IT skills.

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. Since you will have several subject colleagues, we see it as a given that you view your colleagues as a strength and that you collaborate in areas that you prioritize together.

Other

The position is a part-time employment during the absence of the regular teacher in the spring term of 2026, with immediate start. The position will be filled subject to the necessary decisions. Since you will be working with children and young people, we ask that you provide a criminal record extract before employment. The form to request an extract from the criminal record can be found on the police's website.

The Child and Education Administration is responsible for the municipality's preschools, primary schools, high schools, adapted schools, and cultural schools. We work together for a learning environment where children, students, and employees succeed and can be their best. Hässleholm High School includes the well-known schools Hässleholm Technical School (HTS), Jacobsskolan, and IM Jacobsskolan.

We offer 14 national programs and all introductory programs.
