Teachers Wanted at Malmö Citadellsgymnasium

We at Malmö Citadellsgymnasium are looking for two teachers to teach in the economics program in at least two of the following subjects: entrepreneurship and business, law, leadership and organization, and marketing. Join us and contribute to the future of Malmö residents and society.

Job Responsibilities

As a teacher, you work to help students develop their full potential – both academically and socially. You support, motivate, and stimulate each student to meet the knowledge requirements based on their individual circumstances. Your work includes planning, teaching, assessment, as well as evaluation and development of the educational activities, in accordance with the school's governing documents. Mentorship is included in both roles.

We are a learning organization that promotes knowledge exchange, where you find yourself in an environment characterized by collegial learning and development. Together with colleagues, you work to create a good learning and working environment for both students and staff. You also contribute to the quality and development work at the school.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Teaching certification
• Eligibility to teach in at least two of the following subjects at the upper secondary level:
• entrepreneurship and business
• law
• leadership and organization
• marketing
• Experience using digital tools for communication and pedagogy
• Good insight into the school's goals and governing documents
• Very good Swedish in both spoken and written form.

Meritorious:

• Eligibility to teach in other subjects
• Experience teaching in any of the relevant subjects
• Experience in other teaching or educational work.

We are looking for someone who is confident in the teaching role and creates good conditions for students' learning and development. You adapt your teaching to the student's and group's circumstances and prior knowledge through a creative approach and a very good pedagogical ability.

Your working style is characterized by good structure, and you prioritize and organize tasks efficiently. Additionally, you contribute to good collaborations and communicate openly, clearly, and sensitively with your surroundings. You also understand how students' backgrounds, cultures, and group affiliations affect learning, and you create an inclusive learning environment where all students have the opportunity to succeed.
