Vocational Teachers for Sales and Service Program

At Malmö Citadellsgymnasium, we are looking for four vocational teachers for teaching in the field of the sales and service program. Job Responsibilities

As a vocational teacher, you work to help students develop their full potential – both academically and socially. You support, motivate, and stimulate each student to meet the knowledge requirements based on their conditions, preparing them for their upcoming professional roles. Your work includes planning, teaching, and assessment, as well as evaluation and development of the educational activities in accordance with the school's governing documents. We are a learning organization that promotes knowledge exchange, where you find yourself in an environment characterized by collegial learning and development. Together with colleagues, you work to create a good learning and working environment for both students and staff. You also contribute to the quality and development work at the school.

Qualifications Common to All Positions

Requirements:

• Vocational teacher education, qualified in sales and service, alternatively a higher education degree (at least 180 credits) that the employer deems relevant
• Several years of professional experience from the relevant industry and very good subject knowledge
• Experience using digital tools for communication and pedagogy
• Very good Swedish in speech and writing.

Meritorious:

• Experience of independent teaching within the sales and service program
• Previous experience of other teaching/pedagogical work.

Position 1: Vocational Teacher for Enhanced Sales and Service Program

• Qualifications as above

Position 2: Vocational Teacher for Sales and Service Program

• Meritorious: Previous experience of APL / tri-party conversations

Position 3: Vocational Teacher for Sales and Service Program with Business Economics

• Requirement: Qualified to teach business economics, alternatively in training in the subject

Position 4: Vocational Teacher for Vocational Introduction to Sales and Service

• Meritorious: Previous experience of teaching in the introduction program

We are looking for someone who is confident in the vocational teacher role and who creates good conditions for students' learning and development. You adapt the teaching to the student's and group's conditions and prior knowledge through a creative approach and a very good pedagogical ability.

Your working method is characterized by good structure, and you prioritize and organize tasks effectively. Additionally, you contribute to good collaborations and communicate openly, clearly, and attentively with your surroundings. You have an understanding of how students' backgrounds, cultures, and previous experiences affect learning and interaction, and you create an inclusive learning environment where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
