About the Role and Your Responsibilities

Do you want to make a difference in adult learning and their future? We are now looking for a dedicated teacher for Komvux in Lund who wants to contribute to the development and strengthening of our operations.

In the role of a teacher with us, you will work closely with colleagues in a team where you collectively are responsible for teaching in mathematics and science subjects. Together, you will plan, implement, and develop the teaching to create the best conditions for student learning. The position is primarily focused on teaching mathematics at the upper secondary level, but depending on the needs of the operation and your competence, the position will also include teaching in a science subject.

As a teacher at Komvux, you play an important role in supporting adult students' knowledge development. You are responsible for planning, implementing, assessing, and following up on the teaching, and you adapt your teaching to the students' different prerequisites. The assignment also includes actively contributing to the development of our educational programs, both in classroom and distance learning. We Are Looking For You

We are looking for someone who has a teaching license in mathematics and a science subject at the upper secondary level and experience in teaching these subjects. Qualification in biology is an advantage. You have a good understanding of governing documents and a strong interest in developing your teaching. Experience in pedagogical work within adult education is an advantage.

As a teacher, you are genuinely engaged in both your subjects and your students' learning. You have the ability to motivate and create engagement in the classroom and adapt the teaching to the students' needs. You collaborate well with colleagues and use digital tools in a way that strengthens teaching and promotes student learning. You work systematically to follow up, evaluate, and develop your teaching.

We place great importance on your personal qualities. You are unpretentious, development-oriented, attentive, and clear in your communication. You have a relational approach to students and enjoy working both independently and collaboratively. A solution-focused working method is an obvious part of your daily routine.

About the Workplace

Komvux in Lund offers a wide and varied educational offering that includes SFI, adapted education, apprenticeship training, basic and upper secondary courses, vocational training, and combined education. Our operations are conducted in premises at Gastelyckan and Campus Vipan.
