About the Role and Your Responsibilities

As a primary school teacher, you work pedagogically and socially based on the organization's goals and guidelines as well as applicable governing documents.

You are well acquainted with the current curriculum and are responsible for the pedagogical content of the teaching while promoting students' learning and development.

You are responsible for professionally planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching in the subject of wood and metal craft for grades 3-9 based on applicable governing documents. You will be part of a work team where the activities are planned, implemented, evaluated, and developed through collegial learning. You will also be a mentor for students.

As a teacher in wood and metal craft, your workplace will be in your classroom, which is directly adjacent to the wood craft classroom. The classrooms have large windows with wonderful light and are well adapted for craft teaching.

We Are Looking for You

We are looking for a certified primary school teacher with the qualification to teach wood and metal craft for grades 3-9. It is an advantage if you have previous teaching experience. You have good insight and knowledge of the school's governing documents and can apply these pedagogically in your daily work.

You work from an inclusive approach and create motivating and creative learning environments where the student's learning is at the center. You work formatively, with clear goals, multiple learning strategies, and feedback that advances the student's learning. You use a varied teaching method to ensure that all students achieve the lesson's purpose. You create positive relationships in your classroom and build students' confidence to reach learning goals.

About the Workplace

At Genarps School, we have about 300 students in grades 4-9. We care about creating good relationships with each other and with our students.
