JOB DESCRIPTION

Do you want to help educate the future industrial workers?

We are now looking for two committed and knowledgeable high school teachers for our industrial program.

About the position:

As a teacher with us, you will teach students in the industrial program, focusing on welding and industrial manufacturing. We are an IW school and therefore prefer that you have relevant certificates in International Welding (IW).

In addition to teaching, the following tasks are included:

• Mentorship for students
• Planning and implementation of teaching
• Assessment and grading
• Creating good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians
• Other tasks related to the high school’s operations

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a qualified vocational teacher in industrial technology subjects, or has relevant professional experience
• Has a certificate in IW (meritorious/desirable)
• Has good pedagogical skills and a genuine interest in youth learning
• Is structured, responsible, and cooperative
• Has an easy time building relationships and creating a safe learning environment

OTHER

There is an opportunity to combine the job with being a part-time firefighter. Assessment will be made based on the needs of the operation.
