Your mission

You create a safe and stimulating learning environment where students are given the opportunity to develop their knowledge, curiosity, and critical thinking.

Your responsibilities include

• Planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching
• Adapting teaching based on students' different needs and conditions
• Assessing, documenting, and following up on students' knowledge development
• Conducting experiments and practical activities safely
• Using digital tools as a natural part of teaching
• Collaborating with colleagues in teams and subject groups
• Actively participating in the school's development work
• Sharing mentorship with a colleague and jointly following up on students' knowledge development and well-being
• Maintaining ongoing contact with guardians

Your experience

We are looking for an engaged science and technology teacher who wants to help create an inspiring and safe learning environment for our students.

We see that you have:

• Teaching certification with authorization to teach in one or more science subjects and technology
• Experience in teaching science subjects and/or technology and are accustomed to planning, implementing, and following up on teaching based on the curriculum
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• If you have the ability to teach additional subjects beyond science and technology, we consider that an advantage

Welcome to work with us! With us, we value close collaboration in science and technology. Our strength is that we help each other in everything related to the teaching profession and that we develop our teaching together. We work based on a common rough planning that we continuously improve – where everyone contributes.

We work in modern and spacious facilities with good opportunities for experiments in full classes. Every week there is also time for half classes or co-teaching.

In our well-equipped prep room, there is plenty of laboratory material that enables creative and practical teaching, including access to gas. Our teaching is organized in two rotations, where grade 7 has its own content while grades 8 and 9 work with the same content. This creates good conditions for quality planning and more time to develop teaching.

We use textbooks (1:1) in biology, physics, and chemistry, with accompanying teacher guides from various publishers. In addition, we have access to digital resources and teaching films. In the technology subject, there are several class sets of teaching materials that allow for variation.
