Job Responsibilities and Areas of Responsibility

The work will be carried out within the framework of ongoing research projects on local energy systems, energy communities, and smart grids at the International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics. The position includes assisting researchers in collecting data, conducting interviews and transcribing them, assisting in a survey study, and compiling previous research. It also includes actively participating in the daily activities of the International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics, such as lunch seminars and meetings with the research group. The position involves being engaged in collaboration with the various stakeholders and organizations involved in the projects. The position includes, among other things:

  • Conducting and transcribing interviews with energy communities
  • Working on a survey for energy communities
  • Assisting in collecting and summarizing previous research
  • Compiling and analyzing documents, interviews, and surveys
  • Summarizing the results

Qualifications

Requirements for the position are:

  • Education: Holding a master's degree in a relevant field, preferably in environmental studies with a connection to energy.
  • Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting and analyzing interviews.
  • Demonstrated experience in statistical analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience in compiling research in the energy field.
  • Assessed ability for independent work.
  • Good collaborative skills.

Desirable for the position is:

  • Demonstrated experience working with Nvivo.
  • Demonstrated experience in survey design and statistical processing of survey data.
  • Demonstrated experience working with energy communities, smart grids, and/or local energy systems.

We will place great emphasis on how the applicant, through their experience and competence, is assessed to complement and strengthen the existing research group (and contribute to its future development).

Other

The employment is a fixed-term position for 10-12 months with a start as soon as possible or by agreement.
