The Education Administration is responsible for preschool, primary school, adapted primary school, secondary school, and adapted secondary school. The responsibility also includes student health, mother tongue education, school transport, and school meals. We work to create an inspiring learning environment for about 10,000 children and students. We have a strong vision to build knowledge and create dreams.

Description

We are looking for 3 teachers for leisure homes in Västervång, Serresjö/Östra, and Skegrie ahead of the autumn school start.

One position is a temporary contract with the possibility of extension.

The schools and preschools within the Serresjö/Östra area have a unique location, close to both the sea and the plain. About 340 students attend Serresjö School in grades F-6. In each grade, there are 40-50 students who are divided into smaller groups. Östra School is an older school building with a lot of charm. The school is located in eastern Trelleborg, which means it is close to both nature and the city. About 160 students attend Östra School in grades F-6. In each grade, there are approximately 25 students. This position is a temporary contract with the possibility of extension.

Skegrie School is located in the western part of Trelleborg Municipality, in a beautiful residential area with the plain as its nearest neighbor. About 470 students attend Skegrie School in grades F-9. Skegrie School is a F-9 school with an associated leisure home. We actively work to be a school of the times, and the students learn in many different ways, both digitally and with pen and paper, and learning occurs in interaction.

Västervång School is located in an expanding area in northwestern Trelleborg. About 950 students attend Västervång School in grades F-9. The operation includes both primary school and adapted primary school. Västervång School is a newly built school where students and educators have actively participated in designing the school from an inclusive perspective. The school was inaugurated in August 2018. There is also a newly built sports hall in close proximity to the school.

Responsibilities

As a teacher in a leisure home, you will work to plan, drive, and develop the operations based on the curriculum's goals by:

• planning and implementing teaching based on the curriculum's goals
• leading and developing the pedagogical activities based on the curriculum's goals
• advancing quality work by documenting and analyzing the operations to constantly raise its quality.
• collaborating with teachers for increased student goal achievement

Qualifications

Certified primary school teacher for leisure homes or equivalent. Good knowledge of Swedish. It is an advantage if you also have qualifications in home economics, art, or physical education.

As a person, you find it easy to collaborate in a team, have pedagogical insight, and easily create good relationships with students and their guardians to foster development and well-being.

You easily adapt to changing circumstances, take responsibility, drive your own processes, and have a knack for thinking outside the box and seeing opportunities instead of problems.
