Amplius Omsorg is a care chain primarily aimed at qualified investigation and treatment for children with or without parents. We are starting a new HVB focused on children aged 11-14 and are looking for a unit manager. You will be part of an exciting journey where you will have the opportunity to shape the operations together with us!
About Tegelvillan
Tegelvillan is a residential home for children aged 11-14 with psychosocial and/or neuropsychiatric issues, children with complex behavioral problems, and children with acting-out problems. Our operations are characterized by structure, safety, and relationship-based work in a home-like environment. We provide treatment based on CBT principles, low-arousal approaches, and milieu therapeutic methods – where every situation is seen as an opportunity for learning.
Tegelvillan has five places. Treatment is carried out in close collaboration with the facility's psychologist, child psychiatrist, and other professionals within Amplius' specialist team.
About the role
You will work with the daily operations of the facility, focusing on structure, planning, staffing, and coordination. As a unit manager, you will report directly to the operations manager and be part of the operations manager's management team. Together with the operations manager, you are expected to drive operational development and ensure a good working environment, create participation and engagement. The role also includes collaboration with internal and external partners.
In the role of unit manager, you will primarily work with:
- Delegated responsibility for operations, staff, and working environment.
- Leading, coordinating, developing, and following up on operations in accordance with applicable legislation and quality work.
- Ensuring that the facility is staffed with the right competence around the clock.
- Creating structure and safety within the work group.
- Building and maintaining good relationships with our clients, clients, authorities, and other stakeholders.
Working hours are daytime on weekdays.
As one of our first employees at Tegelvillan, you will contribute your expertise and creativity to the development of the operations, create, implement, and improve working methods and routines, and build relationships with colleagues and clients.
About you
We are looking for someone with at least two years of post-secondary education in social work as a social educator, treatment educator, behavioral scientist, social worker, psychologist, or someone with other education combined with experience that the employer deems equivalent. It is an advantage if you have worked as a unit manager or held a supervisory position. Experience from HVB operations, other round-the-clock operations, or working with our target group, families, and children is also advantageous.
You have good leadership qualities such as good collaboration skills, flexibility, clarity, and structure in your work. You are a good communicator, enthusiastic, and have the ability to motivate others to perform well. You maintain your calm in stressful situations and can convey that to others. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Your knowledge of Swedish and English is good, both spoken and written. Good computer skills and knowledge of social documentation are necessary. A driver's license for a passenger car (B) is a requirement.
As a unit manager in a completely new operation, we expect you to thrive in a dynamic and changing environment. You will have the opportunity to help shape an operation from the ground up, and you need to be self-driven, solution-focused, and curious.
Are you looking for a job where you can make a difference, where you get to work in a company that has high quality standards and where development and improvement work is a top priority? Do you want to go the extra mile and exceed expectations just like we do? Welcome with your application!
