Family Therapist for HVB Teen Residence in Lund

We are looking for a family therapist for the HVB Teen Residence.

With us, you work closely with the youth in their daily lives and are an important adult who contributes to structure, security, and development.

About the role and your responsibilities

As a family therapist at the HVB Teen Residence, you are a professional adult support in the youths' daily lives. The work includes, among other things:

• providing daily support, guidance, and care to the youth in their daily lives at the residence
• motivating and encouraging youth towards studies, employment, and a meaningful and prosocial leisure time
• supporting the youth's development towards increased independence, including in matters related to studies, community orientation, and daily life
• being a support in the youth's contact with family and important networks
• working as a contact person for several youth and being responsible for documentation as well as jointly with guardians and social workers establishing and following up on implementation plans
• collaborating with schools and other important functions around the youth

In addition, each employee has specific areas of responsibility based on experience and interest. Routines and working methods are developed in collaboration between colleagues and youth.

The operation is staffed around the clock, which means work in the evenings and weekends (not at night).

We are looking for someone who

• is passionate about social work and has post-secondary education as a social pedagogue, behavioral scientist, social worker, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.
• It is an advantage if you have training in:
• MI
• solution-focused working methods
• working with NPF diagnoses

About us

You will receive a structured introduction, good opportunities for professional development, and continuous support from both colleagues and supervisors. Our unit is characterized by a professional and positive work climate where engagement, collaboration, and responsibility are at the center.

The teen residence is a HVB home for youth aged 14 to 20. The operation offers a safe living environment with a clear daily structure and treatment staff around the clock. The residence has six places and one emergency place.

We work closely with relationships and tailor our approach to strengthen what already works for the youth and reduce risks associated with behavior or environment. The goal is for the youth to develop strategies, responsibility, and conditions for a stable and independent life.
