We are looking for two housing support workers, one permanent position at 100% and one temporary position at 75% starting as soon as possible or by agreement until 261231.

We are looking for someone interested in providing daily support for individuals who have been granted housing support according to the Social Services Act (SoL). The role of the housing support worker is to work supportively and motivationally with the citizen to help them manage their daily life at home as independently as possible. This involves creating structure together and finding strategies to handle household tasks. It may also involve establishing and maintaining various contacts, such as with relatives, work, healthcare, and authorities. The job requires you to be able to walk up stairs, bend down, lift, and sometimes work in tight spaces.

As a housing support worker, you are responsible for planning the daily work and adapting it to the needs present in the organization. You are responsible for ongoing documentation and the establishment and execution of action plans. The housing support groups are based in centrally located premises in Hässleholm.

Who are you?

You are a trained nursing assistant or have another education that the employer deems equivalent. You have good knowledge of mental disabilities and psychiatric conditions and experience working within LSS and social psychiatry. A B driver's license is required for the position. Since you will have a lot of documentation in various systems among your tasks, it is required that you have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing as well as good computer skills.

We consider it an asset if you also have experience working with individuals with neuropsychiatric disabilities. Experience working with methods such as Case Management, Motivational Interviewing, and Independent Living is also advantageous.

In the role of housing support worker, you show respect for the individual with a good approach and understanding of other people's needs and feelings. Since you work closely with citizens, it is important that you are calm and secure. You are flexible and take responsibility for your tasks. You are proactive and solution-focused and have a good ability to create good relationships and collaborate with others.
