Assistants Wanted for a Happy Young Man in Örkelljunga

We are currently looking for assistants who can work extra with our client, a happy young man living near Örkelljunga. We are looking for someone who wants to work in a team of 5 regular assistants where you sometimes work two by two with the client.

As an assistant, you will work where the client is, usually in their own home. He enjoys long walks in all weather. You will be offered friendly colleagues and an active client who truly appreciates their assistants. You will receive personalized introduction/training in all aspects of the client's needs and routines.

The Role and Experience of the Assistant

You are a careful, responsible, attentive, initiative-taking, positive person with a good sense of humor. You will work closely with both the client manager and relatives. We prefer that you have experience working with low-arousal approaches, autism, intellectual disabilities, diabetes, and/or epilepsy. The client lives in the countryside, and the position requires that you have a driver's license for a manual transmission car as you will be driving the family's car. To get to work, you need access to your own car, as public transport to the residence is not an option.

You need to be flexible regarding working hours since we manage staffing within the team if someone gets sick or is on vacation – we support our client and each other.

Requirements

• Swedish language skills in speech and writing are required.
• Driver's license and access to your own car are required.

Preferred Experience

• Trained nursing assistant.
• Experience with low-arousal approaches.
• Experience with neurodevelopmental disorders.
• Experience with diabetes and epilepsy.
• Enjoys being outdoors in all weather.

Working Hours/Employment Rate

• Start as soon as possible until 31-08-2026.
• Working hours are scheduled for afternoons, evenings, awake nights, and weekends.
• Double assistance may occur.
