You will be part of our cheerful unit, including social workers and settlement coordinators.
We work with adults in the areas of addiction, domestic violence, and housing issues.
What we offer you!
In the Harmful Use and Dependence Team, there are five social workers, and we have a position that needs to be filled, a parental leave substitute. We are a small team that cares for each other and our clients, and we have extensive experience and high competence in our field.
We work with investigations, needs assessments, care planning, and follow-up. Our target group primarily consists of adults with addiction issues, but also young people from 18 years old (LVM may be applicable). We have a range of municipal care interventions to offer our clients, including various placement forms and outpatient interventions with different intensities, and we tailor solutions together with other units and authorities. We work in a structured manner based on routines, but as a caseworker, you also have a great opportunity to plan and organize your work as you wish and find best. You will be responsible for tasks and areas of development based on your experience, abilities, and special interests.
We assume that all clients we meet have a lot of tough life experiences along with knowledge, strengths, and dreams of change. We create conditions and ensure that for each individual we meet, there is a plan to care for the sick and build on the healthy.
We have a fixed structure for recurring case supervision in groups and individually, external supervision, team-based organizational development, staff meetings, and continuing education.
There is an introduction program for new employees, where the entire department helps out. As a new employee, you will also have an experienced colleague in the team as a mentor, who is close at hand when you need support in big and small matters.
The position is a parental leave substitute starting 260201 or by agreement.
Hässleholm Municipality wants to create the best conditions for a sustainable working life, so that you can thrive, feel good, and experience job satisfaction. An important part is to offer good benefits to our employees, such as wellness grants and the option to exchange vacation day supplements for days off. You will have flexible hours so that you can sometimes sleep in or leave early to facilitate work-life balance. We also offer the possibility to work from home as long as it works for the organization. The train station is located just next to our office, which makes commuting easy.
