Summer Job as Group Leader for Youth

Do you want a meaningful job this summer where you can lead others and contribute to a cleaner and more sustainable community? We are now looking for three responsible and driven group leaders to supervise youth in a project where waste bins will be relabeled with new stickers.

About the Role

During the summer, two workgroups, each with three youths, will work in two-week periods to relabel waste bins around the municipality. The project lasts a total of six weeks, and as the three group leaders we are looking for, you will collectively be responsible for the two groups. As a group leader, you need to be available to work throughout the period v25-32 (June 15 - August 7). The youths you will supervise will work during the periods v26-27, 28-29, 30-31.

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and inspire a group of youths aged 15-17 years. You will plan and assign daily tasks in a clear and inclusive manner, ensuring that everyone feels involved and secure in what needs to be done. You will ensure that the relabeling is carried out carefully and according to established routines, while also keeping track of materials, timelines, and reporting to ensure smooth operations.

As a leader in the field, you are present, supportive, and attentive – a reliable point for the youths where they can feel seen, motivated, and encouraged. You will represent the organization in a professional, responsible, and service-oriented manner in all interactions with colleagues and customers.

Who You Are

We are looking for someone with a completed upper secondary education, who communicates easily and builds good relationships. Previous leadership experience or working with youths is considered valuable for the role. Regardless of prior experience, you are responsible, structured, and a person with good judgment.

It is important that you have a valid B driver's license and good driving experience with a personal vehicle, as you will be the one transporting the youths around the municipality using the company's vehicle. Since most of the work takes place outdoors, you need to enjoy being outside, in both rain and sunshine.

Conditions and Application
