Personal Assistant for 5-Month-Old Baby

As a personal assistant, you will be an important support in the child's daily life. The work takes place in the home and means that you will be by the child's side. We are looking for someone who can primarily work nights but would also appreciate the ability to work occasional evening shifts. Weekend work every other weekend. The position is approximately 75%.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitoring and care
• Feeding (tube/other feeding as needed)
• Medication management according to prescription
• Hygiene and diaper changes
• Play, stimulation, and closeness
• Collaboration with parents and healthcare staff
• The work requires attention to detail, sensitivity, and the ability to work calmly even in situations that require extra attention.
• The work is performed in a home environment and is adapted to the individual needs and circumstances.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience with children, preferably infants
• Has experience in care and nursing (meritorious)
• Is calm, secure, and patient
• Is attentive and responsible
• Is reliable, engaged, and playful

Experience as a personal assistant or with children and/or disabilities is meritorious but not a requirement. Personal suitability is crucial. Great emphasis is placed on security, empathy, and the ability to create a calm and safe environment.

Employment Conditions

Other

Family members of the client will be involved in the recruitment process and read applications. To work with children, a criminal record extract is required. This must be presented before employment. Introduction, support, and guidance will be provided by Monument Assistans.
