The Swedish National Board of Institutional Care, SiS, is an authority responsible for individually tailored compulsory care for young people with complex psychosocial issues and for adults with substance abuse. SiS youth home Ljungaskog receives non-compulsory school girls with psychosocial issues, substance abuse, and self-harm problems. The institution is tasked with providing care for girls with special care needs.
