What we offer you!

Novagården's treatment center is the municipality's new operation for a comprehensive addiction care for adults. We are a developing organization and offer treatment in several forms: HVB, supported housing, and an outpatient clinic that serves as the hub of the treatment work.

At the clinic, we currently offer CBT treatment with relapse prevention and twelve-step treatment in groups and individually, aftercare treatment, family treatment, as well as support and motivational interventions at the unit or in the individual's home. We are also currently offering yoga and art therapy. Our offerings are continuously evolving and adapting to the needs we see in the clients we meet.

You will be part of an engaged team that works closely with colleagues and commissioners to create a stable, safe, and motivating environment – with the goal of supporting real change for our clients.

The position is located in the outpatient clinic and involves a varied assignment. You will provide treatment individually and in groups, and if necessary, offer support and motivational work in the client's home. Together with the team, you will plan, implement, and follow up on care from a holistic perspective and in collaboration with other community agencies.

You will receive good support in your daily work through colleagues, the unit's coordinator, and the unit manager. We have weekly treatment conferences for joint case management and external supervision.

The position is a permanent employment starting as soon as possible or by agreement.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in areas such as social pedagogy, behavioral science, social work, or equivalent, and who has basic training in CBT level 1.

It is advantageous if you have experience working in addiction care and knowledge and experience of treatment with one or more of the treatment methods we offer, primarily CBT and twelve-step treatment, but also CRA, relapse prevention, and MI.

As a person, you are secure and stable and have a genuine interest in vulnerable individuals and an understanding of their issues. We expect you to have an empathetic ability, humor, a positive view of people, and the ability to handle conflicts constructively.

In your work, you need to be independent and have good initiative. At the same time, you need to have good collaboration skills as you are part of a team. You also see it as a given to contribute to a positive work climate. You do not hesitate to share your experiences and knowledge during treatment conferences and supervision.

We place great importance on personal suitability.

Interviews are scheduled for weeks 13 and 14, and selection is ongoing.
