SiS LVM home Lunden receives women with alcohol, drug, or mixed substance abuse. We accept clients who have mental health issues and clients who need medical care. We operate in Lund.

Job Description

Take the opportunity to try an interesting summer temporary position as a treatment assistant at SiS.

The goal of your assignment is to motivate our clients to adopt new and less risky ways of living. As a treatment assistant, you will help ensure that the routines in the department function as they should. You play a significant role in providing stability and security for our clients, and you are responsible for the foundation of daily life, including activities, cleaning, cooking, and more. You will also contribute to maintaining safety in the institution according to our routines. Documentation is an important part of your work. You will work on building good treatment relationships and contribute to ensuring that our clients receive the security and safety they need to break old habits. Together with your team of dedicated colleagues, such as treatment educators and treatment coordinators, you have the opportunity to achieve good results and contribute to change. The job can often be demanding but is also stimulating, joyful, and varied.

Working hours are according to a schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, or purely night shifts including weekends as per the schedule.

As a summer temporary employee at SiS, you will undergo a tailored introductory training to prepare you for your assignment.

Qualifications

You should have:

• A minimum of 2-year post-secondary education at a folk high school or vocational college (KY/YH) or other education equivalent to this. The education should be focused on social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science, or another relevant field.
• Experience working with people in vulnerable life situations, e.g., work in psychiatry or LSS care.
• Driver's license B.
• Good Swedish language skills in speech and writing.

Meritorious:

• Experience from client-facing positions in the Swedish Prison and Probation Service, e.g., probation officer.
• Security guard training.
• Experience from client-facing positions at the Swedish Migration Agency, e.g., caseworker at the detention center.
• Training in care and nursing.
• Experience working with our target group.

Your personal suitability is key to life-changing transformation. Therefore, you need to have a good ability to create engagement and participation. Equally important is that you have a solid positive view of people, great empathetic ability, and the ability to establish good treatment relationships. You have good communication skills and can remain calm even in pressured situations. You also have the ability to collaborate with others and are happy to share your knowledge with colleagues.

*Exceptions from the requirement for at least two years of post-secondary education may be made in individual cases if there are special reasons according to Chapter 5, Section 4 of the Social Services Ordinance (2025:468).

We want to reward you for helping us during the summer period; therefore, those who work full-time as monthly employed summer temporary staff for more than four weeks will receive a bonus. Up to 20,000 SEK in bonus for summer temporary positions.
