We have a mission that includes a comprehensive medical commitment for patients with long-term opioid dependence. Here we work with medical treatment, conversation therapy, coordination and planning of care and treatment, psychological testing and investigation, as well as simpler somatic care related to addiction, harmful use, and dependency issues. LARO (medication-assisted rehabilitation for opioid dependence) aims to prevent relapse, improve social functioning, and reduce medical complications, transmission, and mortality. The treatment is individually tailored and is based on the patient's needs while respecting the patient's autonomy and integrity. To optimize care for the patient, collaboration is required not only within the reception team but also with other actors such as Social Services, the Social Insurance Agency, and the Prison and Probation Service.

Region Skåne's LARO clinics in Malmö-Trelleborg operate according to the National Board of Health and Welfare's guidelines. The guidelines for LARO treatment changed in 2016 from opiate dependence to opioid dependence, meaning that treatment is also available for individuals with long-term pain issues. Those of us working at Malmö's existing clinics are psychiatric nurses, general nurses, nursing assistants, peer support, curators, psychologists, medical secretaries, and specialist physicians in psychiatry/dependency.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In your role as a curator, you will work with psychosocial investigation, assessment, and treatment. You are the psychosocial expert of the team, working comprehensively and holding this key competence for patients, relatives, staff, and in collaboration with our care neighbors. As a curator with us, you play an important role in being available as support for our patients as well as societal support and in the work with SIP and My Plans. Furthermore, you contribute to the important work of highlighting children as relatives, their situation, and their need for advice and support.

You will be offered a varied and independent job with a high degree of participation and responsibility, as well as good opportunities for development. We provide our employees with supervision and ongoing training in addiction care and psychiatry.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or equivalent education and good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. It is advantageous if you have experience in addiction care, are a licensed health and medical care curator, and have an interest in working with our target group and/or experience working in collaboration with other actors. We also view positively if you have step-1 competence in CBT, as well as good knowledge of Melior and the Microsoft Office suite.

We are looking for a secure and stable person with the ability to handle difficult conversations, who can work independently but also has good collaboration with colleagues and other partners. You are humble, helpful, and always put the patient first. You are also meticulous and have the ability to prioritize among your tasks, while being flexible and able to adapt when situations require it.

As we are a relatively small workgroup, we will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
