JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for engaged and driven employees for the startup of our new LSS residence on Ramsbovägen in Skivarp.

About the service:

Ramsbovägen is a newly built single-story LSS residence with two services.

The first part, with 5 apartments, will start in September 2026.

The second part, with 3 apartments, will start in 2027.

The residence is built by Emrahus and designed with cognitive accessibility in focus. The apartments are filled with thoughtful and invisible adjustments that strengthen the resident's independence every day. The environment is created to reduce stress and conflicts while providing space for recovery and professional conversations.

When the staff feels good, the residents also feel better; this is an obvious starting point in our work.

The position is full-time and involves scheduled working hours day/evening/every other weekend.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for someone who is passionate about contributing to good living conditions and high quality in working with people with disabilities.

• Clarifying pedagogy
• Low-affect responses
• Emotion regulation

Our goal is always to strengthen the individual's independence and participation in society.

As an employee, you will provide support in areas such as:

• Planning and implementing daily and weekly activities (shopping, cooking, cleaning, etc.)
• Mapping and developing sustainable routines and structures
• Establishing implementation plans, response plans, and emotion reduction plans
• Documentation and follow-up
• Personal hygiene and care
• Leisure activities

QUALIFICATIONS

• Can work independently while being a strong part of the team
• Being part of a startup requires commitment, collaboration, and a desire to create something really good together.

Qualifications for the role of support educator:

• Post-secondary specialization of at least 200 YH points or 60 university credits in the disability field (or other relevant higher education)
• At least 1 year of experience as a support educator in the disability field
• Knowledge of clarifying pedagogy, AAC, low-affect responses, and emotion regulation is an advantage
