About the assignment

We are now looking for a summer substitute for our client in Hörby. The client is a man in his 40s who has been granted assistance around the clock, with double assistance for most of his waking hours.

The client is an active person who enjoys brisk walks, swimming, and watching vehicles and machines. During weekdays, he works on tasks such as picking up litter in nature, trimming bushes in the village, and working in a stable.

The client has autism and an intellectual disability and needs foresight and structure to feel his best. His interests include motocross, tractors, swimming, and being outdoors in the forest. Outdoor life is a great passion for him.

The client lives alone in his apartment, and as his assistant, you will also need to support him with household chores such as cleaning, laundry, and cooking. Most importantly, the client needs help and motivation to participate in everyday activities.

The position involves work during the day, evening, and weekends according to a schedule that we will agree upon in the spring.

We are looking for someone who has the ability to motivate the client to live an active life. You should have drive and creativity to find new experiences that the client can participate in. Experience with autism and intellectual disabilities is an advantage.
