JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Do you want a meaningful assignment where you contribute to safety and independence for women and their children who have experienced violence? Do you thrive in a role that requires both professional courage, structure, and a warm approach? The Women's House offers sheltered accommodation and qualified support to women who have experienced violence, with or without children, and in some cases, women with concurrent dependency issues. The assignment involves creating safety here and now but also providing long-term support so that the woman can build an independent and safe life.
Your role includes, among other things:
- Receiving and providing shelter and support to women and their children who have experienced violence
- Conducting risk assessments and working systematically with safety planning
- Providing crisis and support conversations and working towards increased independence
- Documenting continuously in Journal Digital
- Providing practical support and collaborating with other authorities and actors

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is secure, responsible, and engaged in working with vulnerable women and children. You have a professional and ethical approach and the ability to handle difficult situations with calmness and judgment. The role requires flexibility and the ability to switch between conversational support, practical support, and documentation. You work independently but also thrive in a team and in collaboration with other actors. You are solution-oriented, structured, and have the courage to make decisions in complex situations.
We see that you have:
- At least a two-year post-secondary education, such as treatment pedagogue, social pedagogue, social worker, or other equivalent education
- Solid and extensive experience in social work
- Experience working with women in vulnerable situations
- A valid driver's license for manual transmission
You may also have:
- Experience working with women with harmful use and dependency
- Experience working with mental health issues
- Experience conducting support conversations with vulnerable individuals
- Knowledge and experience with risk assessment instruments such as FREDA and PATRIARK
The safety and security of children is our highest priority. To be considered for employment within the Individual and Family Administration's services for children, a background check from the police's suspicion and conviction register must be presented. The background check will only be presented upon a job offer.
