Assistant Minister to Trelleborg Parish

Welcome to the lovely Trelleborg, the gem of the southern coast. We have a church, a chapel, a parish house, a dedicated team, and a good relationship between elected representatives, staff, and members. There are good transport links to Malmö, Lund, Copenhagen, and the continent. The parish has approximately 14,100 members and we have 40 employees within parish activities and the cemetery. Trelleborg Parish is looking for an assistant minister with a heart for meeting people, particularly focusing on our senior members. We are looking for someone who dares to think innovatively and creatively about this group and who is not afraid of new challenges.

An important part of the role is to regularly visit the city's nursing homes and to work with them and other parish activities to develop and deepen the parish's work among the elderly. We look forward to hearing your ideas and suggestions on how this work could be shaped and grow.

The position also includes, like for other priests in the parish, worship services, church activities, and responsibility for a confirmation group. We are looking for someone with liturgical and theological awareness who values the life of worship.
