About me

I am a boy of about 2 years old who has Treacher Collins syndrome and uses a wheelchair (track). I live in Trelleborg with my family, consisting of mom, dad, and two siblings aged 13 and 9.

About you

I am looking for someone with a big heart and a sense of humor. I want you to be an inventive person who still has a childlike spirit. You are kind, considerate, and confident in yourself. You should be initiative-taking, meticulous, and responsible.

Your task will be to assist me inside and outside the home, in close connection with family members, relatives, and friends. I attend preschool during the day, so you will be with me as my assistant. It is important that you are flexible and responsive. You must be able to collaborate, as I require double assistance 24/7, including wakeful nights.

Requirements

• You as an assistant must have excellent command of the Swedish language in speech.

• You as an assistant must be non-smoking during work shifts.

Merits

• It is an advantage, but not a requirement, if you have experience working with wheelchair users (track).

• It is an advantage, but not a requirement, if you have experience working with young children.

The greatest emphasis will be placed on personal chemistry.

1 full-time position, for the duration of the assignment.

Varying working hours: day/evening and weekends.

The role of a personal assistant

As a personal assistant, you represent Hela Sveriges Assistans.

In the role of a personal assistant, you will complete an online training course on what it is like to work as a personal assistant.

You should, together with the client and your colleagues, strive for good quality and follow the company's values and policies.

As a personal assistant, you are responsible for reviewing information sent out by headquarters, and if necessary, searching for information available on the website. For other questions, you should contact your supervisor or headquarters.

Your role as a personal assistant includes:

• always keeping the client in focus.

• being up to date with the implementation plan, which may be given verbally by the client, or be written down on-site or in HSA time.

• reviewing and following the job descriptions and routines available on-site.

• documenting and reading documentation according to the routine in the assignment.

We train our employees to ensure the quality of personal assistance. All our new employees complete a web-based introductory training for personal assistants before the first work occasion, or at the latest within one month of starting employment.
